LEAPS – A new workshop and new challenges

Last Friday’s session was with two groups (15 and 16) of S2 pupils from Castlebrae, Westerhailes and Craigroyston Secondary schools. We tried a new workshop “Mindburst” based on lego mindstoms and building bridges from newspapers.  Some positive points:

Aurevoir to our Gallic Imagineers

At the end of the month we must bid farewell to our French friends.  One of our workshop developers leaves the Heriot-Watt University to take up another research post in Birmingham, and one undergraduate who was here on an exchange programme returns back to France.  They both brought a certain “bonhommie” and French flair to their performances.
